Welcome to the Lions Club of Denver!
"We Serve!"
Denver Lions sponsors medical missions, referred to as "campaigns," to underdeveloped countries around the world.
We have supported campaigns to Rwanda, Ecuador, and Nepal, and individual Denver Lions members have also participated with other Lions Clubs in efforts in Mexico, Central America, and other South American countries.

The following are the Four Pillars of Service the Lions Club of Denver works under as outreaches to our community:
The best way to experience the Lions Club of Denver is to join us for lunch. Stop by our Tuesday meeting to visit with us and we'll buy your lunch and treat you to one of our great speakers - just for seeing what we are all about.
We meet the second and fourth Tuesdays at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at American Legion Post 1 located at 5400 E. Yale Avenue, Denver, CO 80222.
If you would like to attend a meeting, contact us directly so we can reserve a seat for you. Guest availability is limited so be sure to get in contact with us as soon as possible. We can be reached through email at: weserve@denverlions.org or by leaving a voicemail at (303) 504-6293.
We are now on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn! Click an icon below to view our social media and be sure to give us a "like" and follow our page! We love hearing from our guests so be sure to leave us a comment, too!
is in need of regular volunteers-
Groups or teams can work any day, any evening, for any number of hours. Teams of up to 9 people will wash and sanitize used eyeglasses, read the prescriptions using a lensometer, and package the glasses for distribution to groups conducting vision missions.

We will work with any group until the group is familiar with all aspects of the process.
You do not need to be a member of a Lions Club to assist.
You can bring or order in lunch or dinner.
Make each session fun for all while performing a worthwhile task.

LEADER DOGS
Tom Simmons has been a Lion for the past 35 years and a Leader Dog handler for the same number of years. Not a coincidence but a life-changing event.
Working with his current “Leader Dog,” Baxter, and the 5 predecessors has deepened his pursuit of an independent and fulfilling life.

This is a long laundry list of some of the things I am and have been involved with and the lessons learned are that nothing comes without hard work, but working smarter is better than just working harder. You must be your own best advocate and continue life with a cheerful outlook, and a good sense of humor does not hurt.
We invite you to have a first-hand look at the great projects, fellowship, and programs the Lions Club of Denver enjoys. Please contact our office for an invitation to visit by calling (303) 504-6293 or e-mailing us at: weserve@denverlions.org.
