As a result of the last sorting event, we had hundreds of metal eyeglass cases. Enough to fill an SUV. We took them to a mental recycler and they weighed the cases. We had 300 lb of cases, and the recycler paid us $15.
Lion Gwen from the Centennial Lions recycles the eyeglass cases. If it weren't for Lion Gwen, the cases would end up in landfills. We do this not for the money we gain but to protect the environment. Thank you, Lion Gwen.
