Here is an update on your Colorado Lions Foundation (CLF)
ASSETS
• Total Assets as of 12/31/25 were $2,928,026. This is up from $2,841,582 as of 6/30/25. This includes depreciation and the value of the Colorado Lions Camp assets, which are owned by Colorado Lions through the Foundation.
• Probably a more accurate sense of the value of the funds managed by CLF are the Total Current Assets, which were $2,332,891 as of 12/31/25. That is up over $90,000 from $2,225,921 as of 6/30/25.
• The MD6 fund was valued at 22,636 as of 12/31/25. While at first blush that appears down from the $31,613 as of 6/30/25, remember that MD6 liquidated (or paid out) the $10,165 from its Used Eyeglasses account and directed that to COLERC this fall.
GRANTS
• In January, a $10,000 grant was approved for the White Cane Project. • At the February 9th CLF board meeting, requests of $15,000 from Canon City (6SE) and $8,000 from Loveland (6NE) will be reviewed.
• A meeting with the Colorado Lions Camp suggests a spring request will be forthcoming.
• There have been no requests this year from 6C or 6W.
SCHOLARSHIPS
• The Schuyler Scholarship application process is open. • Remember, because of the early date of the State Convention, scholarship apps must be submitted by or before 3/20/26. https://www.colionsfoundation.org/
