If you missed the meeting last week, you missed a good one.  Danielle Schulz is the Adult & Access Programs Coordinator at the Denver Art Museum.  She demonstrated how the DAM gives access to blind and low vision people.  They have custom tours where a docent will explain a painting while the blind person feels the relief of the painting. They essentially feel the painting.  There are also other tactile displays to help the blind experience art.  Such as sculptures and articles of clothing.  Marie tried on the samurai helmet which is part of the Access Program. It was a show and tell meeting.
