64% of the club has donated - we need to hit 100% - any amount, but let's show our commitment to our Foundation.  Thank you if you have donated.

Your Foundation has committed to Savio House to fund their Bluestem Program at $50,000 per year for the next 3 years.  Bluestem is a family residential treatment program that allows parents to recover from substance use while living with their children. The program provides 24/7 supervision to prevent children from being removed from their homes and placed in foster care.  Savio builds resilient communities by strengthening family relationships.

Your Foundation will present the Ensight Skills Center with a $2,000 check for Ensight's low-vision access and independence program at our March 10th lunch meeting.  This program will directly serve 12-15 uninsured or underinsured adults and seniors in the Denver Metro area who are visually impaired.  These adults will benefit through increased independence, improved ability to. manage daily tasks and have greater access to tools and strategies that reduce the safety risks and enhance the quality of life.

Your Foundation contributed $5,000 to Youthroots, a youth-led program that equips youth ages 14-24 to identify community challenges and co-design solutions.  Through their YouthScan workshops, young people share anonymous insights on mental health, health, safety, belonging, and school connectedness that are turned into real-time data for schools and partners.  Their Youth Insight Labs are used to build leadership, data, and problem-solving skills while developing concrete recommendations and projects for their communities.

Your Foundation generously contributed $5,000 to the Colorado Kidsight Program during a particularly challenging period following the departure of an Executive Director who had mismanaged the program for several years. This important gift will strengthen Kidsight’s application for $10,000 in funding from the Colorado Lions Foundation and help restore the program’s financial stability. With this support, Kidsight can continue serving preschoolers in the Denver area and across Colorado, advancing its vital mission to improve the lives of children.

Your Foundation provided $1,000 for studio time at the Access Gallery in Denver for a semi blind artist to use to polish his craft.

Your Foundation has provided eye tests and glasses through America's Best Contacts and Eyeglasses for nearly 300 people in need who otherwise would not have the resources to obtain them, thereby improving their lives.

Your Foundation recently helped pay for the surgeries of two patients referred to us from the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Bank.  The surgeries removed cataracts from both eyes of patients who could not afford them.  Both patients will now live a more improved life thanks to our and RMLEB's contributions

Your Foundation paid $2,450 for Holiday Gifts for needy kids at the Mile High Early Learning center giving their parents the ability to have a wonderful holiday time with their families.

Your Foundation provided expertise and up to $4,000 to install a new secure entry system at the 1st Baptist Church of Denver, where we have our office.  Many thanks to Kalid Dolaat for his fantastic technical help.

Your Foundation has provided $5,500 to the Colorado Lions Camp so that five special-needs kids can attend this summer at no cost to their parents.  The Colorado Lions Camp helps address the need for social, recreational, and therapeutic programs for Colorado residents with developmental and physical disabilities by providing affordable programming that ensures these individuals have the opportunity to experience the joys of recreation in a safe, welcoming environment.

Your foundation, now back on a firm financial footing, will fund a record amount this year, possibly exceeding $200,000 in donations and grants for many worthy causes, improving the lives of hundreds of people.

Much thanks to John Love, Suzzanne Saeenz, and Arti Kale, who do all the upfront legwork in qualifying individuals who need special help.  Their efforts need to be recognized and appreciated.

Thank you for your contributions!
