I am looking forward to a fast-approaching fun opportunity for us to serve as Lions.
I have requested that this message be sent directly to every Lion in our District.

Why Lions: Other than “We Serve,” This is a great PR opportunity for Lions and gives us visibility
My ideal vision for our participation is to have at least one Lion from each Club in our District take part. The event producer, who is my contact, is thrilled to have us take on this as a service project.
There are three ways you can participate:
- Serve as a 'food-runner', carrying plates and bowls of provided food to your assigned table section
- Serve as a 'human arrow' in welcoming and providing directions to lunch guests, which will be a stationary position suitable for our Lions with less mobility, where you will stand or sit at an assigned spot.
- For those who feel unable to do either of these jobs, you can support the project simply by purchasing a ticket to the lunch (only $5.28) and showing up to participate as a guest.
Please note: our presence will have the most positive impact if every Lion wears a Lions shirt or vest. That's all I specifically ask. You don't need to have a recruiting speech (in fact, I recommend you don't bring that intent with you; visit together with your nearby neighbors), but discussing who we are and your own experiences as a Lion is encouraged.
We will need at least 30 Lions volunteers to make this work.
