Lion Bill MacDougall. November 11, 1930 – February 14, 2025
William R. MacDougall was born on November 11, 1930, in Denver. He graduated from East High School and Colorado College after serving in the Navy during the Korean War. Bill was a member of American Legion Post #1, Park Hill Masonic Lodge #0148, and the El Jebel Shrine. As a 60-year life member of the Denver Lions Club, he served on the Club and Savio House boards. Bill earned his pilot's license in High School and enjoyed flying for many years. Bill also loved sailing, fishing, and traveling, sometimes all combined. Bill was a longtime business owner in the petroleum industry. Bill is survived by his wife Diane and four children, Cheryl L Sample (Bob), Terri K Dehne (Neil), Diane J Castleberry, William R MacDougall Jr., six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Bill passed away on February 14, 2025, in Highlands Ranch, CO, with committal at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
