There were about 30 Lions and guests at the Colorado Lions Camp this past Saturday, cleaning up after an active summer. We also did some minor fire mitigation work, like taking up pine needles and kindling on the ground and painting over wooden banisters and railings. We could also see the huge hole in the ground on the east side of the lodge where a 30,000-gallon water storage tank will go. This will ensure that fire trucks have additional water on-site, should there be a future wildfire in the area.
