Lion James Nussbaum (9/12/1935 - 01/26/2021) in his will made a substantial donation to the Denver Lions Foundation.  
 
Lion James Gordon Nussbaum, age 85, passed away peacefully on the evening of January 26, 2021. Jim was born on September 12, 1935, in Joliet, Illinois. He graduated from the University of Illinois where he also received advanced education in finance and became a CPA.
 
Since 1971, Jim has lived in the Denver area where he and Helen raised their family. Helen passed in February 2013. Jim had a highly successful and respected career as the Managing Partner of Price, Waterhouse LLP, CPAs. He was also deeply involved in his Church and many professional, civic, and service organizations.
 
Lion James Nussbaum joined the Lions Club in Chicago in the 1960s and transferred to the Denver Lions Club in 1972. He served the Club as a director from 1975-1977 and from 1881-1985. He served as Vice President and then President in 1984-85. He also served as a trustee of the Denver Lions Foundation from 1978-81. He was awarded the Melvin Jones Fellowship in 2004. During his many years of membership, he sponsored more than 15 new members into the Club.
 
Denver Lions appreciate his donation and he continues to support Denver Lions.  Jim will be remembered.
