Lynn Elstun Hoover, age 90, passed away April 28, 2025. A Denver native, Lynn graduated from East High School and the University of Denver. He was a member and past president (1985-86) of the Denver Lions Club, as well as a member of the Hotel Greeters of America. He was a hotel and motel broker with VanSchaack and Ross Real Estate companies until establishing his own real estate companies, Charter Properties, and later Hoover Lodging.
Lynn loved his family, travel, and living in Colorado. He had a great appreciation for the performing arts and treasured classical music. Long drives in the Colorado Rockies brought him great joy. Lynn had a fantastic sense of humor and loved to joke with everyone! He will be deeply missed!
Lynn is survived by his wife, Phyllis, son Craig (Marieke Kittleson), daughter Holly (Mark) Lehr, and grandson Ryan Lehr.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Unity Spiritual Center Denver, 3021 S. University Blvd., Denver, Colorado 80210.
