Dani was so sweet and very appreciative. She spent her life as a Corrections Officer in Texas. She worked on Death Row with all the well known murderers. I made sure to stay on her good side.

It only took one alan wrench to take apart the old bed and just a knife to open the box and cut zip ties for the new bed. It took about an hour. I discarded the old bed frame in the dumpster when I was done. For a mechanical bed that could lift the head and/or feet, it wasn't terribly heavy.

Dani said I was only the second person who had been in her place in the last year. She has a chronic breathing condition and was told if she got COVID she would have a 50/50 chance of surviving it. We chatted while I worked and her little dog barked at me occasionally from her crate.

Dani is very thankful that the Denver Lions Club was able to help her.
