Having sight and all its benefits is a wonder.  But have you ever thought what blind men and women sense.  This is an opportunity to experience what blind people do without losing your own sight.  The Blind Café is designed to change the way you 'see' the world.

  • Description: Participants will have a Blind Cafe Experience that includes dinner and entertainment. First, they'll enjoy cocktails and the opportunity to mingle. Then, they'll be escorted into a pitch black dining hall by trained blind waiters, who will seat them and give them an idea of the food and drink on the table in front of them. After enjoying their dinners and interacting with others at their tables, they can ask questions of the waiters. Finally, they'll hear soothing music from professional entertainers and make their way out - again with the help of the blind waiters - and mingle once again in visible surroundings to talk about the experience.
