Mission Trip to Yucatan in January 2020

Eyesight Campaign in the Yucatan
 
DLC is planning an eyesight screening campaign to the Yucatan in January. Here are the details:
  1. Location: Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico, about 2 hours from Cancun.
  2. Dates: January 12-20, 2020.
    1. Fly down on January 12;
    2. Tourism from January 13-15;
    3. screenings of 550 children on January 16-17, adults on January 18-19; 
    4. return on January 20 or later (if desired)
  3. People served: We’ll be working on a community most of whose inhabitants are of Mayan descent.
  4. Collaboration with: Santa Fe Lions Club and PDGs Tom and Rose Himrod.
