Premier Showing of "Our Colorado Honey"

We now have two more TV producers in the Denver Lions.   Lion Claudia Folska and Lion Sam McKenzie have created the Colorado-based series Cooking in the Dark: Connecting Communities Through Yummy Food for Rocky Mountain PBS.

  

While Claudia literally cooks in the dark, she recognizes that all people cook in the dark if they do not know where their food comes from or what resources were used to get it on their tables. Inspired by this need for transparency in food systems, Cooking in the Dark helps bring light to food that is produced here in Colorado and the chefs and cooks who prepare it.

 

The program airs on RMPBS Channel 6 starting on Saturday December 3 from 9:30 to 10:00 am.  The website is www.cookinginthedark.today

 

To celebrate the upcoming show you are invited to a PREMIER SHOWING of episode 3 “Our Colorado Honey”.
