Recycle for Sight on the Mall
We are having a major community outreach event and need a lot of Lions help. This event will provide Lions and in particular the Denver Lions a huge amount of visibility. We will be collecting used eyeglasses at three locations on the 16th Street Mall. Each location will have a canopy, a table and signage. It will be a lot of fun telling people about Lions.
Tuesday April 11
We will have two shifts: 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm (please arrive 45 minutes early, at 10:15 am & 12:15 pm). At the beginning of the shifts we will meet in the meeting room at Maggiano’s for instructions. We will be passing out flyers and collecting eyeglasses. Hopefully we will have some people who want more information about Lions. This is our opportunity to promote Lions. At the end of the first shift and the beginning of the second shift, there will be a buffet in Maggiano’s. There will not be a meeting on this Tuesday, but we will enjoy our time at the Mall.
