The Denver Lions collects used glasses that are recycled and sent on medical missions around the world. The Lions collect from over 100 locations in metro Denver. With help of Denver Lions and staff from the State Office of Legislative Legal Services, the glasses were sorted and packed for shipment to the Lions Recycling Center in Sterling, CO. At the recycling center the glasses are cleaned, prescription read and stored waiting for tor distribution around the world. The team sorted 3000 glasses for the Lions Recycle for Sight program.
