Shaun Boyd is the Curator of Archives at History Colorado, where she cares for paper-based and information-intensive artifacts such as books, manuscripts, and maps. Prior to her work at History Colorado, Shaun was an Archivist with the Douglas County Libraries, a public library system between Denver and Colorado Springs in what was one of the fastest-growing parts of the United States, and worked at a local history museum in small-town Iowa. She has served on the boards of the Society of Rocky Mountain Archivists, the Colorado Historical Records Advisory Board, and the Academy of Certified Archivists. She received an MA in History from Colorado State University with an interest in 19th Century American Women and a Master's of Library and Information Science for Emporia State University.
