The Denver Park Trust, founded in 2019 by Denver City Councilwoman Kendra Black and Denver Parks and Recreation Advisory Board member Frank Rowe, is a fundraising organization working in partnership with Denver Parks and Recreation to improve and add new parks in the neighborhoods that need them most. We gained early support from Denver Mayor, Michael Hancock, who pledged to implement long-term strategies to help ensure every Denver resident is within walking distance of a high-quality park, and a group of passionate donors who believed in our vision and mission.
