Erin Newport, Executive Director Lions Camp, is a Kansas native who attended Fort Hays State University, Hays, Kansas. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Sports Management. Erin has spent the past 23 years in various roles throughout her camping career. She made her debut as a camp counselor her first summer, which impacted her life greatly resulting in a change in her major her senior year of college. Erin made her way to Colorado Lions Camp in November 2018 as the Camp Director and then moved into the role of Executive Director in October 2020. Erin has always had a passion to work with people with disabilities whether it be her job or a volunteer opportunity.
