The Community Project

The Community Project was founded in 2005 to increase positive change in our community through collaboration. We have partnered with various community organizations, including animal shelters, radio stations, schools, and outreach programs to create projects that would benefit their respective populations. We are currently working with several organizations in Boulder County that serve the unhoused population to provide food, clothing, and hygiene products to those who need them. In our new collaboration with Lions Club International and COLERC, we aim to supply corrective eyewear to individuals experiencing homelessness in Boulder County. We are working with several organizations, including Deacon’s Closet and Streetscape, to distribute glasses. COLERC gave the Project 300 Rx, 100 readers, and 100 sunglasses.  We are very grateful for COLERC and The Lions Club’s willingness to assist us in this endeavor, and we look forward to this continued partnership!
