Lion Robert Lee Frye 1931-2025 Lakewood, CO
Robert “Bob” Frye, Denver native, passed away on December 8, 2025, and will be missed by many. He was a long-time active Lion. Director 1976-78 and 88-90, Secretary 1987-88, President 1995-96, Melvin Jones Fellow 2000, Foundation Trustee 1981-84 and Sec/Treas 1982-84, RMLEIF 1996-05 and President 2000-03, Life Member served He was influential in the creation of the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute and Foundation.
He is preceded in death by daughter Cheryl and is survived by his wife of nearly 72 years, Shirley, sons Rob and Greg, son-in-law Steve Adams, grandchildren Jason, Matt, Laura, Jennie, and Jessie, as well as 3-½ great-grandchildren.
