The Denver Den is looking for two members to step up!
The Colorado Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center (COLERC) processes the used eyeglasses collected by Lions Clubs. Only after the glasses have been processed can they be distributed to someone in need. COLERC operates with 100 percent volunteer labor.
The Denver Den would like to establish a schedule for those members who prefer to work during the week and another schedule for those who prefer to work on the weekends or evenings. There is a need to a Team Leader-Weekdays and a Team Leader-Weekends.
Team Leaders would set a session schedule, then evite members to the sessions. At start-up, it may be necessary to try alternative days and times, but the idea would be to establish a regular session schedule, perhaps monthly. Members of the COLERC committee will provide training until the teams are thoroughly familiar with all the protocols.
Please let me know if you are willing to take on one of these responsibilities. Lion Dwight
