Lion, Gail Hamilton, who is blind, needs to repair a Braille eMotion, a portable refreshable Braille display and notetaker, for one of her piano students, who is also blind. Hers was recently damaged and is much needed for both her employment and greater independence in her daily life.
The device allows her to record customer information, maintain notes, verify addresses and service areas, manage appointments, and handle other written information independently with her job. Without it, she has been relying on a slate and stylus, which is considerably slower and much less practical for her work.
