TOM KLEIN New Communities LLC is a boutique real estate development firm focused on the acquisition and new development of multi-family apartments and townhome projects. Its founder, Tom, has an extensive background in residential housing and historic real estate development. He has managed a national portfolio of multi-family low-income housing tax credit investments valued at over $100 million for a private investor group.
Specializing in complex financial models, New Communities LLC has served as a primary partner on projects across three states. Financial models for these projects have included the use of Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, private activity bonds, HOME loans, and Federal Home Loan Bank grants. NC has acted as a development partner in the development of a variety of for-sale, historic, and affordable housing projects. Additionally, it provides consulting services to other developers and has presented at historic preservation conferences.
