Ron Uchida I am a Colorado native, born and raised in Denver. I graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a Professional Engineering Degree in Geophysical Engineering. After a couple of false starts, I found my niche in the high-tech industry. I spent 30+ years writing software, designing computer systems, marketing and selling IT systems, and managing global teams of technology professionals. I have twin daughters. One daughter is a physician and professor of medicine at Northwestern University School of Medicine. Her twin sister is President of the Brinson Foundation, a private family foundation that supports and funds science and technology research. My wife of 53 years is a financial advisor, and the reason I could retire 15 years ago. “She keeps me in the lifestyle to which I have become accustomed.”
